WE GOT THE HOUSE!

We got the house! We got the house! We closed on our new house last night. This was my first time going through this long, painful process....and am not looking forward to doing it again anytime soon! Our new address is 1451 Garfield Street, Denver, CO 80206. We've been packing machines and still have such a long ways to go. We get possession of the house tomorrow. Downtown Denver was built during the early 1900's. Our house was built in 1910 and was completely renovated about 2 years ago. Tally is excited for a backyard and we are looking forward to relaxing in the hot tub after a long weekend of moving. It will take us some time to furnish the place, but I will post pics when it all comes together.

This week was exciting as the Democratic National Convention was held in Denver. Regardless of political preference, it was exciting to feel the energy and buzz of the event. Carter and I went out to dinner downtown last night to celebrate our new house and even had an Obama sighting as he made his way to Invesco Field to deliver his acceptance speech!
