I have been doing a pretty good job of sticking to my plan of doing yoga 1-2 times a week to help combat the physical and emotional stress of school. Last week, we had a sub instructor in yoga class. At the end, he had us throw up our hands and laugh for a minute. At first, everyone was a little hesitant and did the glance-sideways-at-everyone-else-and-see-what-they're-doing thing. However, before long, we were all throwing our hands in the air and laughing great, big, belly laughs. What a great release! I felt so much happier and lighter for the rest of the day.
This morning, our regular yoga instructor returned. It felt incomplete without the laugh.
Lesson learned: when you feel like screaming, throw up your hands and laugh instead. It's much more therapeutic.

love it...such a simple thing to do! I need to remember and practice this one!
I just got through reading your entire blog...WOW...WOW. I am reminded once again what an amazing writer you are(and of course a perfect daughter)! You really have such a gift with words....it was like a wonderful book when you were so sad that you reached the last page! Thankfully, you will continue this wonderful endeavor and I will never have to put "this book down"! :)
Aw thanks, you are so sweet, Momma! Hopefully it won't be another 2 years before my next post :)
