Restaurant Week x3 - The Melting Pot

The reason we love fondue - flaming turtle and s'mores chocolate

Took an afternoon off from studying on Wednesday to lunch with the ladies. It's always a great time for the Melting Pot, even better when it's Restaurant Week! Apparently, the Melting Pot in Littleton is haunted, but no ghost sightings for us this time (unless you see orbs in the pics?)

"The former Carnegie Library, now home to the Melting Pot, is Littleton's most ghostly gathering place. The building was also used as Littleton's jail for a time and an escaped inmate was killed on a back stairway. Restaurant employees tell tales of moving espresso machines, candles lighting themselves and eerie voices emanating from the sealed-up stairway."

Although we were stuffed for the next 2 days, it was a great time :)

Restaurant Week x2 - Colt & Gray

We've been wanting to try the Sticky Toffee Pudding at Colt and Gray since we saw it on the Food Network's "Best Thing I Ever Ate." What better time than 5280 week? We had a bit of a cold snap that day and walking into a room with a cozy fireplace was perfect. The food and wine were fantastic, but the dessert was the main attraction for us. Warm, baked sticky toffee pudding with bourbon ice cream and caramel sauce. Amazing!
